This year the theme was China: Through the Looking Glass in the most important fashion event, that gets together the most important editors, celebrities and models of the fashion industry, celebrating the opening of the new exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There were a lot of looks and styles, some were fabulous, exuberant and creative but others totally missed what this event is all about, like Met Gala is just another red carpet moment.  The Follow Affair gave especial attention to the looks that respected the dress code, the way they interpreted the theme, even in little details (Selena Gomez dress or SJP headpiece) but there were looks that were just fabulous even though the theme wasn't there (Diane Kruger). Having said that, here is the best looks from the Met Gala.

First of all, this year Met Gala is going to be available to anyone through a screen. It's great, Vogue and Condé Nast Entertainment will join the Relativity Studios to produce and distribute a documentary that will show everything that happens behind closed doors in one of the most anticipated events of the fashion world. Andrew Rossi will be in charge, an american director and the produced by Fabiola Beracasa-Beckman. The gala will be co-presented by actresses Jennifer Lawrence and Gong Li, the businesswoman Wendi Murdoch, the chairman of Yahoo Marissa Mayer and by the editor in chief of American Vogue magazine Anna Wintour. This big event will take place in May 4th at the Costume Institute, Met Museum, this year theme is going to be China: Through the Looking Glass . I expect to see amazing dresses, they get better and better every year. This days all eyes were looking at the celebrities walking the Red Carpet in Met Gala this year. First of all, I think it's important to know what the Met Ball really means, cause this event is not just celebrities in couture. The Costume Institute Gala is a ball that celebrates the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum's fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute. Since 1948 the event has been an annual affair at the Met. Hosted by Vogue, this event is considered by fashion experts the best red carpet event in the fashion world. Now that we ALL know what the Met Gala means, let me show you some of my favourite looks of the night and of course we cannot forget the worst dresses. Oh, and the theme of the party was PUNK One of my favourite look was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Gucci, I have a girl crush on her, a really big one. From the makeup to the accessories, Rosie looked flawless.
