How to be Parisian


Finally my book arrived! Super excited, can't wait to learn with this book. The best that could happen was to be reading the book in Paris, having tea on the Café de Flore, eating macarons and being trés Parisian.

Today is the day! Louis Vuitton, one of my favorite brand will showing the 2016 Cruise Collection. The place chosen by Nicolas Ghesquière is Palm Springs, in California. To be more precise the Futurist place of comedian Bob Hope and his wife Dolores, an iconic modern construction in the region, built by John Lautner in 1973. For the designer this house is a symbolic milestone, that has inspired him from the first time he saw it, being the chosen ambience for his second Cruise Collection for Louis Vuitton. The show will have 400 guests but you can watch the show in the comfort of your house, not missing any detail, live through the site of the brand starting at 18:15, local time The Follow Affair will certainly watch the show even though in Portugal it will be at 2:15 in the morning but has a fan of the brand I cannot miss this. xoxo, A

Lock me up and throw away the key!!!!!

In mood for shopping? well this clutch is definitly at my wishlist, i felt in love when Louis Vuitton show them, on 2011 winter runway. My  ultimate object of desire is the iconic Lockit bag, created in 1958 and reinterpreted in a myriad guises. T he Lockit's  handcuff, made the bag inseparable from its wearer, it's a  whole new spin on the concept of the wristlet clutch. Is It Dior in a Comic Book?

I'm not a comic book girl! I have read the classic ones that every little kid reads when they are young, Tintin, Asterix and Obelix, Mickey Mouse, besides this I'm not crazy about this type of books. Buuuut I'm going crazy for this Dior comic book from the writer and graphic designer Annie Goetzinger. Amazing illustrations, with breath taking dresses describes in perfection every look and character in a luxurious world. Main character is named character and the story revolves around her being a fashion journalist that after attending a Dior fashion show, in 1947, the year it revolutionized the industry introducing the "New Look", arouses the attention of the designer. Being a fan of this house I'm going to buy the book for sure but for now is going to my Wish List.
