The Follow Affair

I have known LouisVuitton company ever since my mother bought her first bag, since then I fell in love with the company and when I grew up and came in 2008 to study in Portugal I wanted to represent a brand like LV. Such a big connection I created to the brand that not only I like to use their bags but I study the brand by reading books and trying to understand the beginning of LV. I understand the philosophy LV stands for and in a world wide market it's important to have that specific thing that distinguishes from other luxury brands. LV is such a valued brand that since it was founded, 1854, the brand had to fight against copies of the models. And now has a really hard philosophy and drastic measures against fake.

Nicola Ghesquière did it. Louis Vuitton belongs in the 21st century, it's not just the classic bags, Nicola Ghesquière give this house a new twist to fit in. Not forgetting that LV started as traveling company, which reflects on the bags that are miniature versions of monogrammed LV trunks that became part of the 20th. But you can see Nicola futuristic version of the mini trunks, having in consideration that nowadays when you travel what you need the most is you iPad, iPhone and the charger of course. The show was held inside space-age silver domes at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, with guests seated in each of the three domes and models traversing the rooms. And all the LV girls were there Michelle Williams, Jennifer Connelly, Chloë Grace Moretz and Selena Gomes. The opening of the show you could see fluffy cream sheepskins, the perfect trio, especially that pink hair model, Fernanda Hin Lin Ly, made me feel like I wanted cotton candy hair to go with the my new LV flu...
