As a Portuguese, I proudly defend what my country has to offer when it comes to fashion and it's fantastic when I read articles about the Portugal fashion industry gaining importance in the world. I'm talking about a Forbes article I read recently talking about how Portuguese fashion designers, starting to have influence in the fashion industry. Portugal Fashion that happens in Lisbon and Porto, it's our own fashion week. This year back in March, we celebrated 20 years, and it's about time that fashion puts eyes on what we have, on what we can contribute to this industry. If you already follow the blog, you know I have a special place for Josefinas ballet flats , an mazing Portuguese brand dedicated only to ballerinas, and with the ability to conquer the world. A few days ago, the brand presented the new collection, Pop Square , a beautiful Gingham pattern, very feminine and with an influence from the 60s'. The ad for the collection is set in Abbey Road the iconic crosswalk is where all happened, beautiful girls pose and dance while having fun with Linda , Pattie , Mo and Yoko . Named after The Beatles wife, this Josefinas will be your new best friends, with beautiful colors to where for the hot sunny days, I can wait to have one pair. It's hard to choose just one color, they are super gorgeous but I have to admit that my favorite is Linda (named after Linda Mccartney), the pink color is not my favorite color but they look so perfect, I could wear them with anything, jeans, skirt, I would be so happy. This brand as conquered the queen of the bloggers, Chiara Ferragni a.k.a The Blond Salad. Josefinas is a Portuguese brand dedicated to ballet flats, created by Filipa Júlio, an architect with a dream to create a shoe brand, and here they are, to all the girls to take home and love them for life. Josefinas was the chosen name in dedication to her grandmother that took her to ballet classes. The idea is the classic design of the ballet flat, that sometimes is hard to find but with fun themes. The price range is around 100 euros, but it's a very good investment for great shoes that last a very long time and they have a especial characteristic, an adjustable drawstring just like the real ballerinas. In other ballet flats the tie doesn't have any utility.
